About concert
The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera presents a new concert programme of works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. “The eternal sunshine in music, your name is Mozart!”, Pyotr Tchaikovsky said, and over the last several centuries, we cannot stop admiring the genius of the composer.
The old Baroque theatre will host enchanting music of the great Austrian: symphonic fragments and overtures, arias, duets and scenes from popular Mozart operas including “Don Giovanni”, “Le nozze di Figaro”, “Die Zauberflöte” as well as rarely performed in Russia.
The costume gala concert will feature The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera leading soloists and the orchestra, these talented singers and musicians who are at the top positions in international music, determining the shape of the Russian performing traditions of both the present and the future.
