Find below the information on the procedure for providing access to the building of the St. Petersburg Opera for people with limited mobility, about the features of providing services to them and additional assistance from the staff of the theatre.

General Information

Responsible person for accompaniment, assistance to people with limited mobility and for ensuring the accessibility of the facility and services – chief administrator Valery Lappalainen, tel. (812) 314-22-83, , Mon – Fri 12:00 to 18:00.

Address of the theatre: St. Petersburg, Galernaya st., 33, lit. A (entrance from the street).

Working hours of the box office: daily, from 12:00 to 19:00, break: from 15:00 to 16:00.

The nearest public transport stops are located on the Truda Square and Konnogvardeisky Boulevard.

There is no special parking for disabled people.

Entrance from Galernaya st. requires climbing stairs. There is no special facilities.

The wardrobe is located on the 1st floor.

Toilet rooms are located on the 1st floor. There is no special facilities.

The hall, foyer and buffet are located on the 2nd floor.

The stairs from the 1st to the 2nd floor are not equipped with special facilities.

When entering the theatre, the front door requires sufficient effort.

The button to call the theatre staff for assistance is located to the right of the front door.

The theatre premises are not accessible for wheelchair users.

For the disabled of the lower extremities, the following services are provided:

Accompanying and required assistance at the entrance to the theatre and wardrobe.

Accompanying and required assistance when using the stairs to the hall.

Provision of specially allocated seats in the forefront of the hall.

Accompanying and required assistance when visiting the buffet.

Accompanying and required assistance when going up and down stairs to use the toilet.

Accompanying and required assistance when descending the stairs after the end of the performance.

Accompanying and required assistance when leaving the theatre.

For the disabled of the upper limbs, the following services are provided:

For disabled people with complete and partial loss of vision, the following services are provided:

Accompanying and required assistance at the entrance to the theatre and wardrobe.

Provision of specially allocated seats in the forefront of the hall.

Accompanying and required assistance when visiting the buffet.

Accompanying and required assistance when going up and down stairs to use the toilet.

For disabled people with complete and partial hearing loss, specially allocated seats are provided in the front rows of the auditorium.
