The city found itself in a terrible situation, however, cultural life did not stop, despite all the hardships, performances were played for the public. On November 8, 1942, after a break, opera singing was revived in Leningrad. The premiere was the opera by P. Tchaikovsky "Eugene Onegin".
On January 27, 2021, the pearl of Russian classics, the immortal masterpiece of Tchaikovsky, will be performed at the St. Petersburg Opera. We dedicate today's "Eugene Onegin" to everyone who lived and worked in the besieged city ...
