Just before Christmas, the 'St. Petersburg Opera' theatre will performs with festive concerts in Poland and Azerbaijan. The geography of the theatre's tours is so wide!
On the 10th of December, there was a Gala concert of soloists of the theatre in the Warmińsko-Mazurską Philharmonic of Olsztyn (Poland). Laureates of international competitions participated in this concert: Elizaveta Alexandrova (harp), Olesya Gordeeva (soprano), Valentina Fedeneva (soprano), Karolina Shapovalova (soprano), Natalya Vorobyova (mezzo-soprano), Larisa Pominova (mezzo-soprano), Vladislav Mazankin (mezzo-soprano), Leonty Saliensky (tenor), Alexey Pashiev (baritone), Evgeny Solodovnikov (bass).
The concert was conducted by Robert Luther.
The director of the 'St.Petersburg Opera' Mr. Evgeny Malygin has shared his emotions after the Gala concert: 'Tonight we experienced truly positive emotions in Olsztyn! We would like to thank the Government of St. Petersburg for this opportunity to show our talented collective to the Polish audience. On December 18, soloists of the theatre will perform in Baku (Azerbaijan). The laureates of international competitions Evgenia Kravchenko (soprano), Sofia Nekrasova (soprano), Larisa Pominova (mezzo-soprano), Vladisav Mazankin (tenor), Alexey Pashiev (baritone), Elizaveta Alexandrova (harp) will perform on the stage of the Russian Drama Theatre.
