On September the 18th, the Third Festival of Russian Musical Theatres 'See Music' has opened in Moscow. Musical theatres of Moscow such as the Bolshoi Theatre, Helikon-Opera, The Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow and musical theatres of Russia take part in the festival this year. Saint Petersburg at the festival “See Music” will be re-presented by the theatre 'St. Petersburg Chamber Opera'.
The theatre will perform at the Festival for the third time in a row. At the first festival in 2016, the Chamber Opera brought two performances to Moscow. These operas were ‘Les pêcheurs de perles’ by G.Bizet and ‘Not Only Love’ by R.Shchedrin.
In 2017, the theatre showed at the festival three performances: ‘Die Fledermaus’ by J.Strauss, ‘Don Giovanni’ by W.A.Mozart and ‘The Rape of Lucretia' by B.Britten.
This year, at the Third Festival of Russian Musical Theatres 'See Music', our theatre under the direction of People’s Artist of Russia Yuri Alexandrov will present two performances to the Moscow public. The first performance is operetta 'Les Cloches de Corneville' by R.Plankett on October 20th, (conducted by Alexander Goykhman) and the other one is 'Faust' by C.Gounod on October 21st (conductor Maxim Valkov). Both performances are united by the 'French theme' in the works of Yuri Alexandrov and they have creative staging solutions and inspiring musical performance of classical works.
The following soloists of the 'St. Petersburg Opera' will take part in the Festival:

The performances will be held on the stage of Helikon-Opera. The address is Bolshaya Nikitskaya str. 19.
