On April 22, The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera presented Not Love Alone at the festival dedicated to Modest Mussorgsky and Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov in Pskov.
The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera is well known to Pskov audience where the company has repeatedly presented its best performances.
This year the Chamber Opera brought one of its successful premiers of recent years, Not Love Alone by Rodion Shchedrin staged by the theatre’s artistic director, People's Artist of Russia Yuri Alexandrov.
The performance was awarded Golden Spotlight, the highest of St. Petersburg drama prize as Best performance in the musical theatre.
The main roles were performed by the theatre’s leading soloists: Victor Aleshkov, Larisa Pominova, Evgenya Kravchenko, Izabella Bazina, Karolina Shapovalova, Anton Morozov.
