The new St. Petersburg Chamber Opera concert program features popular music.
The theme of the concert covers music of different genres: from an old romance (Aleksander Gurilyov, Alexander Varlamov) and operetta (Emmerich Kalman, Johann Strauss, Jacques Offenbach, Isaac Dunaevsky) to Soviet and foreign pop songs (Muslim Magomayev, Arno Babajanian, Raimonds Pauls, Valery Gavrilin, Michel Legrand, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Aleksandra Pakhmutova and many others).
