The St. Petersburg Opera cancels all performances from March 19 until April 30, 2020 following the resolution of the Government of St. Petersburg dated as of March 18, 2020 No. 127.
The St. Petersburg Opera theatre will take part in the festival “23 Days until Victory” dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The Hungarian government has declared a state of emergency to combat the
spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Due to this reason, the tour of the
theatre in Budapest from March 28 to 29, 2020 is canceled.
On March 13, the Governor of the city of Saint Petersburg Alexander
Beglov signed a decree banning mass events with more than 1,000
participants due to COVID-19 outbreak. Restrictions apply from March 16
to April 30, 2020.
Please note: in August 2023, performances and concerts will take place on the stage of the St. Petersburg Theatre of Musical Comedy (13, Italyanskaya str.)
