“Once Again About Love”

On Valentine's Day, February 14, a unique project of the People's Artist of Russia Valentin Yudashkin called “Once Again About Love” will be presented at the Alexandrinsky Theatre. The production director of the show is People's Artist of Russia Yuri Alexandrov.
A large-scale theatrical fashion show will combine the art of one of the most famous fashion designers of the world, the People’s Artist Valentin Yudashkin and the masterpieces of musical theatre.
Stylish and luxurious costumes of the Fashion House of Valentin Yudashkin will be combined in the author's show concert with the masterpieces of the world musical theatre.
Soloists and the orchestra of the theatre St. Petersburg Opera, artists of the Mariinsky Theater will perform solo, as well as with arias and duets, fragments from opera and ballet classics. Love will be the
leading theme of the evening. The story of “Romeo and Juliet” will be played in the dramatic symphony of Hector Berlioz and in the opera of Charles Gounod, fragments from the opera of Richard Wagner's
“Lohengrin”, the opera by Giacomo Puccini “La bohème”, the opera “Pagliacci”, “Cavalleria rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni, fragments from the ballet “Swan Lake” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and “Don Quichotte” by Ludwig Minkus, the operetta genre will be presented by “Die Csárdásfürstin” by Emmereich Kalman.
“Once Again About Love” is a celebration of music and fashion, a parade of young stars and a unique
defile.
