The first concert from a cycle of new programs named “Musical Lounge” took place yesterday. The chamber concert was held for the first time for the public in the unique interior of the Red Room. Accompanist of the concert - laureate of international competitions Ekaterina Knyazeva. Within the program works by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Donizetti, Derviz and others were performed.

The tour of the St. Petersburg Opera Theatre at the Fifth All-Russian Festival "See Music" has ended. On the stage of the Moscow Theatre "Helikon-Opera" two unique performances were presented: on October 27 - "Esmeralda" by A. On November 02, 2020 the troupe of the theatre opens the international tour performance. The troupe will perform for the first time in Turkey on the stage of the Ozay Gonlum Hall of Denizli Nihat Zaybekchi Congress and Cultural Center in Denizli. The Gala concert of soloists and an orchestra of the St. Petersburg Opera will be shown to the Turksih audience. Conductor - Aleksandr Goikhman.

Our theatre was supposed to open a new theatrical season on September 16.  However, due to the illness of several leading soloists, we have to postpone it until they recover. Today we are pleased to announce that the opening will take place on October 02, 2020 with the opera "La Traviata" by G. Verdi.

Director Yuri Alexandrov, Renat Salavatov (music director and conductor), Victor Gerasimenko (production designer), Gulnora Gatina (in the role of Syuyumbike) were awarded the prize for staging R.Akhiyarova's opera “Syuyumbike” (2018) on stage of Musa Jalil Tatar State  Opera and Ballet Theatre.
