'St. Petersburg Opera' performing at the Alexander Theatre in Helsinki


The international tour of the theatre under the direction of Yuri Alexandrov which has began on the French Riviera in Nice, continues with performances on the stage of one of Finland’s oldest theatres - the Alexander Theatre. 

'St. Petersburg Opera' has been cooperating with the Alexander Theatre almost since its foundation. For more than 20 years, the Chamber Music Theatre 'St. Petersburg Opera' has been showing its best performances to residents and guests of the Finnish capital on its stage. 
This time two premieres of the past seasons will be presented in Helsinki: On 23rd of October, opera 'Cavalleria Rusticana' by P.Mascagni On 24th of October, G.Donizetti's opera 'L'elisir d'Amore'. 
The conductor of these performances is Alexander Goikhman.
