The Hungarian government has declared a state of emergency to combat the
spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Due to this reason, the tour of the
theatre in Budapest from March 28 to 29, 2020 is canceled.
On March 13, the Governor of the city of Saint Petersburg Alexander
Beglov signed a decree banning mass events with more than 1,000
participants due to COVID-19 outbreak. Restrictions apply from March 16
to April 30, 2020.
At the end of March 2020, the St. Petersburg Chamber Opera opens a new touring
direction. The collective will perform on the new stage of the Hungarian State Opera - Eiffel Art Studios.
