Summary of our June playbill


The world opera classics will be presented in the theatre in June: “Pagliacci” by Ruggero Leoncavallo on June 5, “Eugene Onegin” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky on June 10, “Not Only Love” by Rodion Shchedrin on June 20, “La bohème” by Giacomo Puccini on June 17, “Don Giovanni” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on June 21, “La traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi on June 26. 

On June 13 the theatre will be perform “Il barbiere di Siviglia”, the comic opera by Gioachino Rossini, staged by Yuri Alexandrov, which was premiered by The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera this March. 
A number of concert programmes will be devoted to prominent classical composers. These include Viva Strauss! on June 6 & 18, Gala Donizetti on June 7,  World classic masterpieces Gala on June 24 and Gala Mozart on June 27. 
The theatre continues its Operetta on opera stage series with “La belle Hélène” on June 14 and “Die Fledermaus” on June 3 & 28. 
You are welcome to attend the original Palace extravaganza concert on June 19. We offer a relaxed atmosphere of dialogue with the artists, a walking tour through the magnificent halls, including Moorish and Maple lounges and the Winter garden, designed as a grotto, as well as photo and autograph session and a surprise intermission!
