25 December: Silver harp. Elizaveta Alexandrova. Recital

Elizaveta Alexandrova is a well-known harpist, winner of many international competitions, and a soloist of The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera. 

As a student of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Professor Irina Donskaya), Elizaveta Alexandrova was admitted to the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, where she performed successfully until 2008. With this orchestra under Valery Gergiev she participated in various performances and prestigious music festivals in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Mikkeli, Rotterdam. 
Since 1995, Elizaveta Alexandrova has given recitals in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Bulgaria and the Netherlands. 
In 1997, she won the Second prize and a special prize for performing the mandatory program at the First Open International Harp Competition in Moscow, the First Prize at the Second International Competition in Varna (Bulgaria) and the First Prize in the Muse of St. Petersburg competition. In 2002 she became the winner of Vera Dulova International Harp Competition receiving a special award of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation.
In 2003, Elizaveta Alexandrova completed her postgraduate course of the Moscow State Conservatory with Professor Olga Erdely and in 2005 she entered the board of the Russian Harp Society. 
Since 2008 Elizaveta Alexandrova has been the leading harp concertmaster of The St. Petersburg Chamber Opera orchestra where she also gives recitals. 
In addition, she is a professor of St. Petersburg State Conservatory for harp and chamber ensemble department. 
In 2012, Elizaveta Alexandrova organized the Crystal Key Ksenia Erdely International Harp Competition supported by the St. Petersburg Government.
